Classic MB "Ankh" Tattoo
I took it wayyyy back to my tattoo roots again...I did my first ankh in 1993... They became very popular in the urban community around 1995... I took a break from doing them because they became a trend...but I decided to bring them back after tattooing Zulu out in LA and Erykah Badu promoting me on twitter... It might be a sign.... It was my very first tattoo.... 360 degrees

Miya Bailey & Zulu in LA
Wednesday in LA I got to tattoo one of my Heros in the tattoo industry, "Zulu" back in 1997-98 I wrote him an email about how he inspired me to take my tattooing way more serious as a career... he was the first black tattoo artist to get press world wide... This brother was international when I was still playing around in the streets... It was an honor to ink him and it was also an honor to have him star in "Color outside the Lines" having him be apart of my first film is a milestone in my life.... And to tattoo him...amazing... Thank you, Zulu for believing in me and proving we can do anything if you believe and focus....many blessings, MB

Tattoo "Balance" Sleeve
This was my last appointment in New York... It was a rainy day... We rolled a few blunts up and let the art flow....he wanted balance... He already had his lower arm & chest done by Queen's tattoo artist, Made Rich.... Rich reminds me of a young version of myself so I was easy to flow off the pieces he already had on him... It was an Allday session....this client was super cool and laid-back... Good energy makes it earlier to work Allday... I'm thankful
