Unfinished Business Getting Finished And Stuff

Got a couple of unfinished pieces that got finished and healed and what not and a Medusa by Florencio.

 Florencio finished up this one with a couple more details, now it's done.

The dragon Willem did came by with its client, to get a photo taken of the healed piece.

Medusa done by Florencio, still not completely healed, but you get the idea.

And last but not least, something different by Willem, two origami butterflies.

Oh how I love the smell of a tattoo shop on an extremely hot and humid summers day.

I would have never known how many different smells and colors sweat can come in, if I haven't worked here.

What a wonderful life experience this day has been for me.

In other news: Willem got to finally finish the dragon he started a couple of months ago.

Lacking Slacking

Hi guys!

Some of you might have noticed that I've been slacking a bit on the blog lately. I know this, because some of you have already been complaining about it. I won't name any names.... LUCIE!

I could go and blame it on the fact that I was busy with moving and the whole new shop and all that. But matter of fact is I'm just lazy and I hate this blog.

No just kidding, I love the blog and every one of you guys that actually take time to read it every once in a while.
But I've noticed that I have less time than I had before to do the blog, and I want to try to take the blog to a higher quality level, so maybe I'm going to cut down on the amount of posts and focus more on putting up posts with more valid and useful information in them.

Don't worry though, I won't be cutting back on the bullshit stories and making a mock out of everything, that's a mental issue I have to work on.

 Here's a picture of a sleeve I've posted on a while ago, Mehdi got to finish it earlier this week.

Vikinger Fra Helvete

We had an awesome week here at the new shop. We could really get used to this whole new setting, I think.

Willem and I are sitting outside, next to a nice little fire we got started here, while I'm writing the blog, and winding down from a hectic but fun week.


Word of our new huble abode travels fast and far nowadays. Yesterday we got attacked and plundered by a pack of Evil, Wolf-Wrestling, Killer, Rapist, Vikings-From-Hell.

Really nice people!

I think they could have been part vampire aswell, because they couldn't stand the sun that good.

Here is a picture of when they caught Mehdi and started assaulting and man handling him. Poor guy, he didn't stand a chance against the Norwegian-bare-handed-bear-killers.

All kidding aside, they were really cool guys, and girl. Birdie came all the way from Norway to get the rest of his back started by Mehdi, He already had a piece by him that they started a couple of years ago in Copenhagen. Now he came back to get the rest of his back done.


We had a great time hanging out with these guys talking about wolf-wrestling-techniques, chewing 'cow dung' tobacco, and plundering villages in the old days.

That's a container of the cow dung tobacco, when you put it in your mouth for a while, it supposedly makes your breath smell like real viking breath and makes you irresistable to the viking women. Really potent stuff!


Mehdi got Birdie back pretty well for man-handling him earlier. With a 5 hour lining session on his sunburnt back.

All in all, take some awesome people, some awesome food, an awesome shop mix them all together and what you get is a pretty awesome time.

When all of a sudden Willem the barbarian, kicks in the door and smashes their faces with his bat.

Der Koi Und Der Dragon

I'm not completely sure if I already posted the story of how the koi turns into a dragon here on the blog. So I'll keep it short, I don't want to be repeating myself, now do I?

The koi fish in Japanese folklore represents the overcoming of obstacles, because the koi fish travels up the yellow river and when it successfully climbs the waterfall at the end of the river it transforms into the dragon.

Thus representing that if one is able to overcome obstacles/challenges they will be greater for it.

Willem started a heavy-metal-ass-dragon-rib-piece, the guy he did it on was made of pure rock!

The guy didn't move for 3,5 hours of lining on the ribs, occasionally we had to check if he wasn't dead.

Dim Sum Thursday

90 Minutes in and I'm still staring at a blank screen. All I got is this stupid title that doesn't even make any sense what so ever. We didn't even have dim sum today.

Pretty stupid I can think of anything relevant to say, because this is a
picture that could have quite some text with it.
But, by the looks of it, I think this one will pass by here a couple of times more before it's finished. So I'll have a second chance sometime soon to make up for today.


All I have to say is, this is Kees, he's getting a full bodysuit by Mehdi, and he has quite a way to go still.

Merry Dirty Christmas

First of all, we here at the shop would like to wish everyone a merry ol dirty christmas. Enjoy it and be kind to the people around you.

Secondly I have a bigger picture of yesterdays quick post.
Thirdly, I made even more pictures of even more awesome tattoos, but unfortunately the blurry-photo-fairy came by again and ruined that for you, so you'll never actually know how awesome those tattoos were.

Too bad isn't it?  I guess santa will skip me this year for being a bad photographer.

Poor Florencio can't see another scale, for the next 6 months, or he'll go crazy.

Ying To The Yang

Mehdi started a new shoulder/quarter-sleeve/chestpiece or whatever you want to call it.

This is the result of the progress so far, just the lines for today. He'll be back soon, to get the rest done.
The guy wanted something to represent balance, with a dragon. So eventually he got himself two dragons so they balance each other out. I'll try to get some more background info about it on the next post.

Is It Chinese New Year Yet?

Willem made this chinese dragon a while back. It's a little bit of a cross between a chinese and a japanese dragon.

Mehdi thought it would be funny to sign this tattoo, as a surprise for a friend he was doing it on. And I must admit, it made me laugh after seeing the look on the guys face.

Tony did this lotus today, I really like how the colors turned out.



Tony has been nagging the whole week, for me to post a dragon he did a while back.
