Prophet Bailey

My son Prophet Ayim Bailey will be going to the 6th grade... He's only 9 years old so he will be in middle school with the big kids... I'm very proud of him....Tashia got parent of the year award again.... She do a beautiful job with my son she deserves it.... I would like to say RIP to Tashia's grandfather, John who passed away today....many blessings to her family.... Prophet will cont' to make both sides of his family proud.

Getting there....

I have been hard at work, trying to finish up my book "Before I'm Gone: The Art & Life of Miya Bailey" and getting my art studio together... Tonight I put together a desk my mother bought me for my bday...this new desk will be used for my water colors.... I have been working on a few new styles using different mediums.....I also have a drawing desk from Ikea today that will be used for large illustration work.... I will give yall a sneak preview of my new work very soon...here are a few update pics from my art studio:

An artist by the name "Blessed" did this oil painting of me and my wife years ago... I got it hanging by the door across from Prophet's painting to always remind why I work so hard... My family is everything to me.. We are "The Bailey Family"

Happy Birthday, Egypt Bailey

Today is one of my daughters birthday. Egypt Bailey is my second of 3 children and today she has turned 12 years old. Egypt is a creative soul like her brother, Prophet (8 years old) and don't take no shit from anyone like her older sister, Algeria (15 years old). I'm sitting in the hotel room now in Asheville, NC about to get dressed and run to the mall for a few more things she's in school right now so I have some free time. Might go visit some family after the mall. Can't wait to see Egypt, I miss my children alot since I work alot so when it's their time with daddy I do my best to give them the world...Happy bday Ms. E, daddy loves you!

My Resurrection....MY SUN (son)

My lil' man is growing up he just had his 8th bday on Dec. 21. We had a sleepover for him invited all his homies over. It was cool ass hell, to see him shine amongst his peers. Just wanted to express my love for him, and I always hope he stays close to his 2 sisters and protect the Bailey women like the warrior he was born to me. I hope he travel and see the world, and never abuse the love and friendship his queens and ladies give him on his journey to manhood. I love you, Prophet Ayim Bailey.
