Icons by Jim Lee
I was in the comic book store the other day and saw a book from my favorite comic book artist "Jim Lee" I have been following his work since the 90's when he was the artist for X-Men... I collect anything this man does... I only wish he would go back to Marvel Comics with his talent... I'm not a fan of DC comics I can't front.. I was raised on Marvel...it would be a dream come true if he returned back to X-Men again...but I can't be picky so if I have to buy a DC comic just to see the art of Jim Lee so be it... I wanted to buy his book "Icons" but I'm saving up money to open the Brooklyn & DC City of Ink stores... So I had to cut back on my comic books, magazines, sneakers, and even weed...the things we have to give up to stay focused on your dreams & goals... If this book popped up at the shop for me it would REALLY make my day... Hint hint...so if your a fan of amazing comic book art... Check out Jim Lee's ICONS. That pencil drawing cover is just beautiful to me!

Dope Painting
Me & Prophet was walking through Castleberry Hill and dropped by Peters Street Art Gallery....they always have some dope paintings, this time I saw the paintings from tattoo artist, Sam Parker...this piece is titled "City Dweller" and is only on sale for $1500....I'm saving up for some tattoo chairs for COI and a new camera for myself so I can't buy this painting right now but if it's still up there after I get what I need a few of his new paintings will be mine :-)

It never stops...
Thoughts are unlimited...everything comes in..mixes up and come out beautiful...nothing is wasted...memories are gas fueling flames of untamed thought patterns... Different from yours... But understood by my kind...artist they call us...the creators of worlds...the masters of turning nothing into something...worshipped by some.... Hated by those who don't understand... We are visual angels....taking orders to create by the Most High.. We are artist and it never stops

My Skin...

My skin tells you my story...no words are needed...I come from a City made of ink...where freedom starts in the mind, and outsiders look at us trying to figure out what we stand for...everyday we get closer to freedom...and each step of the way we capture the moment in our skin....our goals our failures our love and our pain.. You can see it all on my skin... No words are needed....the art speaks for itself..and only the ones like us will understand the hidden message....a pain of beauty touches my skin and the mind of the artist use me as a canvas...I tell the artist my story to inspire a spark of images in his mind...he can feel my words....those words turn into pictures...the pictures flow from his mind to his hands... Touching my skin turning my body into art.... An art that will only attract others like myself...and distant the negative ones with leak of understanding... My body is covered in a story... My story, the artist story....the story of life & dreams... And forever I will live in the City of Ink.
