Corey Davis loving NYC

My lil bruh, Corey Davis is enjoying the New York life....I'm so glad to see him spreading his wings... It's hard for me to respect other men who I feel don't work as hard or even more harder than myself... But Corey has that same drive as I do...some people just want to do their job then go home... Corey would tattoo go home and do even more work to help build his brand & name... He studied the blueprints of the greats.. And created his own lane... I try to teach my other fellow artists the samething... Some learn most don't listen that's why they still taking walk-ins years later...once you build a brand you will have followers who will purchase all your products... You use tattooing as a tool to kept the attention of the masses... Once you have inked a person I'm sure they would support you in your other fields of art... I know if I got tattooed by an artist I would buy his or her posters, books, t-shirts, stickers, music, etc because their way cheaper than getting a tattoo... Corey Davis is mastering this branding and I'm very proud of him... I hope God bless this young brother with the BEST WOMEN he's mind & body can handle... Keep good women on your team bruh... The dudes won't hustle hard like women would for you... Beware of male egoes.. And only keep the dudes around who has the same drive or even more drive than yourself...don't be used... Get paid for all your art...you proved yourself so no freebies... Use a condom and don't make any children until your married...don't take the girls serious... Your career comes FIRST so don't slow down for "so-called love" girls will be there once you have reached your goal....knowlegde before wisdom....just wanted to express how proud I am of Mr. Davis... He listened, he studied, and he is doing it! Sleep when your dead bruh...hustle HARD and inspire your city... Then inspire the world... The sky is your limit

My 2010 "Thunder Bolt" Tattoo

I JUST got my thumb tattoo.. Corey Davis is doing $20 "Thunder Bolt" tattoos allday today so I had to jump on that offer...it's means "The Time is Now" since a thunder bolt only flash for one second... Thanks Corey, I love it "City of Ink"

Corey Davis has been with me for almost 3 years now and I'm VERY proud of this young man. I have seen him grow from just an artist, to a tattoo artist, to a fashion designer to a businessman. Corey reminds of a younger version of myself. He's only 22 years old and has his own clothing line and store in downtown ATL. Once me and Tuki got Corey we tried out best to be postive role models for him. The Edible Phat Mixtape : CHAPTER ONE

Some of yall might know there are many sides of the "City of Ink Movement" and this also includes music. From Hollyweerd to Corey and Aware's group, Mach 5. Alot of hip-hop and music group leak on the visual side of the music industry. Remember when tapes and cd covers had DOPE art and amazing music videos. Now all you see are video hoes and "rappers" who really think they street niggaz on BET. I want to introduce yall to 4 of my family members and their video to the first song of their mixtape "Edible Phat". The genuis behind creating these music videos is my homeboy, Justin. I met Justin when we was trying to get City of Ink together. He came over to my house to get a tattoo done by me before COI opened up. When I first met him I thougt he was just a photographer but later on I found out he was also a graphic artist, fashion designer, and into video making (and he also has an amazing collection of RARE music by Prince).
